Intelligence is individual's abilities to understand complex ideas, to adapt effectively to the environment, to learn from experience, to engage in various forms of reasoning, to overcome obstacles by careful thoughts.
There are many theories to intelligence, one of them is proposed by Cattell based on Spearman's two factor theory of intelligence.
Naruto has different aspects to his personality. It was hard to differentiate intelligence with physical attributes. But we do observe his reasoning and problem solving skills throughout the anime, where others seemed to not think like the way he do.
So if Naruto was born to ordinary shinobi parents, would he be the same? If hadn't trained so hard would he have been the strong hookage he is? What do you think is the reason Naruto is Naruto?
