At The Pipsqueakery we know a lot about small things and how important they are so I want to take a moment to address something that I hear a lot during fundraisers. Often people apologize for not being able to donate "enough" or for donating so "little." Sometimes they even apologize for not being able to donate at all and just being able to share. I want all of you to know that all of those little things are important and what make big things, like rescuing 77 hamsters possible. Let me do some math to show you what I mean. Between Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr The Pipsqueakery has 114,242 wonderful followers. If each of those followers donated 10 cents we would raise $11,424.20 which would more than pay for the intake of A Series of Unfortunate Hamsters. If each follower donated 50 cents we would raise $57,121 which would easily cover a year of operations and expansion. If each follower donated $1 we would raise $114,242 and if each donated $5 we would raise $571,210 either of which would allow us to build and run a facility! Additionally, one follower shared our fundraiser last night and her share raised over $100 even without her being able to donate on her own. I tell you all this to explain that there is no such thing as a donation too small and no such thing as a pointless share or other action. You can make a difference in the lives of the critters of The Pipsqueakery with some spare change, a share, or a kind word. We love and appreciate everything every one of you does for us and it ALL makes a difference.
