I try to always be upbeat in my posts, but today I want to touch on something sad I saw posted by a friend on Facebook. πΊ She had posted a one year old Calico cat at the @OrangeCountyAnimalServices which was to be euthanized if she didn't have a home by noon yesterday. π I have no idea if that happened, but hope she had a last minute hero. π This is our one year old Calico we got at OCAS exactly one year ago. π We had never exactly been cat people. π± But our cats now -- THIS CAT -- oh, how in LUV we are. π€ My life partner tells me all the time he's not sure he's ever LUVed an animal more. πΎ She is WEIRD, she is funny, she has an ass the size of a Kardashian and she is furry LUV sashaying about our house like a royal lunatic. β€ So many animals needing homes. π If you stick you neck out for one, extend a hand, I promise you will be met with LUV and appreciation and you just may make one of the best connections with another creature you have ever had in your life. π These sweet creatures deserve a chance. πΆπΊ And they offer so, so much in return. #iluvwinterpark #catsofinstagram #catsofig #calicocat #instacalico #adoptdontshop #rescueanimals #winterparkluvscats #winterparkluvsdogs #orlando #OrlandoIsWonderful (at I LUV Winter Park)
