in order: the title, the project, and personal opinion

1. play ball, supposed to do stuff with a newspaper without adhesive. i was very late with this one cause I was gonna do some deep depressing stuff by burning the obituary section but I realised i didn't want to be a bummer so i remade it very fast, i wish i put more time into it and made something actually cool, rather than trash

2. which way. it was supposed to be a figure-ground reversal. i wanted to make something cool with sheep or words but my professor kept telling me not to and i got tired of thinking of unique ideas and just made sure no one did this exact one and just kinda slammed it. i really wish i just said fuck it and went with my original ideas, maybe over the summer ill go back and redo it the way i wanted.

3. welp. it was just making stuff with lines that go different ways, i really like this one however for some reason the w square looks lighter than the rest so I would try to fix that.

4. you died. & slow to rise. these were both transformations, i had a lot of fun with both of these, hence why i did the second one. i would love to do more of these.

5. The Dude. this was supposed to be with tone but i fucking hate graphite and mixing pencils so i did the circle route. its really hard to see the face unless you are far away. I didn't care for this project a whole lot, very tedious.

6. Sharper. this one was to show texture details, i really enjoy drawing pencil sharpeners and i like the details they contain, the little lines and all that. i really liked this project.

7. The Mitochondria is the Powerhouse of the Cell. we had to do monochrome paintings of cells. I'm not that proud of this one cause i only had one brush and wasn't able to get the little details i wish i got.

8. Toronto Transit. this was a project where we made a map with complimentary colours, i really like this one, this was actually something i had been wanting to make for a while so i was glad i got to.
