What's happened?
Would’ve been fine if that damn tribble hadn’t gotten loose and wandered into the life-support system air ducts. Don’t know how the fucker managed to slip in and then turn out to be fat enough to clog one of the valves. And because of course we’re on board a ship of goddamn heroes, the engineering ensigns get together a rescue mission for the bugger.
-eye roll-
They’re lucky Scotty didn’t immediately turn the the systems back on when they disabled them, because fat tribble or not those dumbasses could’ve ended up getting sucked through the sanitizing systems, and I don’t know about you, but being slow cooked at 150 degrees Celsius in a rapid spin cycle with your crewmates’ bad breath sounds like a terrible way to go.
Anyhow, they make it out and back, somehow not getting cut on the exposed bolting or edging, which is good, because who knows what the hell grows in all the pretreated air. As is I ended up giving them the entire antibiotic-immunobooster cocktail when they brought me the damn tribble for a ‘check-up.’
