She knows this is deeply unrelatable in a time when so many people are struggling but that is the life of a showgirl ™️ . The material things are all exaggerations of any material goods you may want. Shes saying money cant buy happiness. Which yeah, money can make life much better. But for her and her life money is nice but not the most important thing. And yes! This whole album is unrelatable which is why its so interesting as a story. We have so much context on taylor and her history from interviews and all her previous albums so everything on this album makes so much sense for her and I cannot fault her for living life through the circumstances she was given.

i think there is a 100% chance that they will play it. i was already pretty sure they would play it, even when i thought that would be the only show they would play it at. because it's not a song they hand't done in forever, they played it on 9/11 in 2011. so i was sure they would for their 9/11 show in brooklyn. because i think its obvious that them playing nyc on 9/11 was very purposeful, considering they kept that date every time they rescheduled the tour. but then they played it a bunch of times in europe and that was set in stone for me. they haven't played it yet on the us leg but i think maybe thats because now theyre saving it for that show. i know im sometimes wrong about things but there literally isn't a doubt in my mind that we'll hear it at that show.
