Peter Kolinsky was among the world's foremost experts on rare books, with a top position at a prestigious auction house, until black marketers took an interest in him. Since narrowly avoiding jail time, Peter's lived a lonely life in a tiny apartment, with a menial job he hates.

Things look like they might turn around when, looking for a late-night snack, Peter wanders into a cafe and meets Angela. She shows him the Archives, where books currently being written are somehow on the shelves. It's a book-lover's dream until the black marketer who ruined Peter's life returns with a grudge. On the run, will Peter find salvation in the Archives, or further ruin?

Ieri am avut evenimentul de lansare de la scurtmetrajul nostru Ce-ar fi fost dacă? A ieşit mai bine decât ne aşteptam şi a fost o plăcere să aud din nou din poveştile ce le-am strâns la Sighet sau chiar să aud poveşti ce nu le auzisem până în acel moment. 

Am descoperit că nu e nevoie de băieţi să dai de capăt problemelor tehnice şi că unele intervenţii făcute ca nuca-n perete sunt perfecte pentru a mai relaxa o atmosferă tensionată. Discuţiile au oscilat de la poveştile deţinuţilor politici la experienţele noastre şi ceva mai puţin, despre democraţia noastră, dar mi-ar plăcea să cred că oamenii care au plecat de la evenimentul nostru au reuşit, măcar pentru o jumătate de zi, să vadă cu alţi ochi lumea în care trăiesc.
