Type 1 and type 2 diabetes are similar and different in their own ways. Some symptoms of both types are quite similar such as: https://haveshuddhi.wordpress.com/2021/10/22/what-are-the-difference-between-type-1-type-2-diabetes/
Does Anyone know of Self-Care Resources for Polyuria and Polydipsia?
I’ve have both since I was 13.
I’m thirsty all the time, and dizzy a lot of the time, especially after sitting or standing up without exercise.
I also had recurrent hematuria starting when I was 14 but gradually dropping off.
I’ve had a lot of tests for kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, etc. ruling these out; it may be insipidus.
I’ve looked for self-care resources, but keep finding articles on diabetes [mellitus], listing polydipsia and polyuria as symptoms.
I can’t tell if I’m not drinking enough, or just enough or too much, because I’m always thirsty anyway.

Does Anyone Know of Resources to Help Cope With Insipidus?
I have had severe polyuria since I was 13. I have had constant thirst too.
I learned to ignore my thirst and stay dehydrated to go anywhere, because it’s practically impossible to find somewhere to go every 2 hours, and completely impossible every 20 minutes.
But now I’m chronically ill and can’t go anywhere anyway. The dehydration shows up in blood tests, and could contribute to my unrelebenting headaches, if not my other symptoms.
I haven’t yet re-learned to pay attention to my thirst and get hydrated.
I can’t find *anything* on how to get hydrated without causing cerebral edema.
Any useful resources?

Does anyone know of self-care resources for womyn with insipidus?
It is a condition that can cause us to need to urinate every couple hours, and drink water all the time, and get dehydrated if we don't drink water all the time.
I think a lot of my symptoms may be due to chronic dehydration due to not drinking enough water due to not being able to urinate every couple hours if I'm going anywhere.
I was also on diuretics for a while, which made things even worse.
