Stiles didn't know about Kate, but what about Allison? She hallucinate about her coming back as a creature and opened the door just like Stiles in her dreams. Add the unexplained messages in her phone, Nogi using 'we' when he first appeared, Jared with his bomb and "they said". Maybe they were planning to have Allison possessed too. The Onis didn't check her after all.
There were definitely things about Allison in that last season that went unexplained -- most notably the phone messages, and it would be interesting to know if they planned on making her a second Nogitsune but changed that arc, for some reason, partway through.
Personally I never saw the Kate dreams as being prophetic, though. Again, it might have been the show hinting to the viewers that Kate would be coming back, just like Chris mentioning the berserkers was a hint to the viewers that they’d be showing up in season 4... but for Allison I think it was just her own fears about her dark side, her hunter side, her bloodthirsty, vengeful side that we saw in season 2.
Scott was afraid of losing control of himself to his wolf, and started seeing himself/his shadow in its transformed state, representing those fears.
Allison was afraid of her own dark side coming out, and so Kate kept appearing to her as a representation of that dark side -- of how a hunter could go bad. Allison feared becoming someone like Kate, so I think that’s what those visions were about.
(Even if she were a Nogitsune, from what I remember, the Nogitsune weren’t psychic or possessing prophetic powers, so she still wouldn’t have known about Kate being alive.)

If it’s the scene I’m thinking, no. It’s a call back from the beginning of the movie, when Fury bet he can still surprise him.
