tonight I captured three spiders in my bathroom (in one cup, no less! what skill! I don’t think they liked being in a cup together, they looked like they were trying to fight?) and a few hours later, there is already another one in my bathroom. and also a small flying thing which I have not yet identified. (which I suppose makes it a ufo.) they are/were not the big gross kind of spiders at least, more small bodied and long legged and delicate, but still. why……………………
pros of being a tree: -no thinking -no interacting with people -no rent, jobs, etc -sunlight on your branches, shining dappled through your leaves, feeling nice and making pretty patterns on the ground -cool lovely shade -squirrels running across you -happy bugs having fun -nice dark earth -very quiet and peaceful -friends with other trees -really good looking -solid trunk with great patterns -long tangled roots exploring, drinking up delicious water -pretty green leaves spreading out and drinking in sunlight -more surface area than a human for rain to fall on -forest animals frolicking across and around you -awesome mushrooms -fuzzy moss cons of being a tree: -???
