Is it intersexist for me to have an alter who uses the label intersex? I was told by another intersex blog it was, and that they should use the term "altersex" but Wags was "born" this way, and they don't feel like altersex fits because they never transitioned, it's just how they always have been. Plus they feel like it's no different than alters who are male or female despite the body not being so. They're also nonbinary, idk if that changes anything.
It is intersex, the term intersex is exclusively for bodily intersex people.
An alternative term could be innosex [link] if that could help ! But personally, for internal language, that alter is free to call themself intersex internally, nobody can really stop that, but so far as outsys communication and presentation, it would be best to distinguish that they aren't bodily intersex.
