Howdy! I had been thinking about Gar Cabur / Gar Cyare and wanted to reread the chapter about the Nulls threatening neverd’ika. So I just reread the whole shebang on Ao3 (echosgecko). I thought you had named our heroine, but I couldn’t find it. There was a comment on Chapter 36 that called her Ziya. Can you tell me in which chapter you revealed her name? Thank you for taking me on this fabulous ride with this series.

I also read that comment and was a little confused. I have never given the reader character a name and I don't really intend to. I feel like it would almost be weird if I did at this point! 😅

Not sure if that commenter was mixing up GC with another story or had taken some Mando'a to be the reader character's name, but I was just rolling with it.

As it happens, I am extremely fond of happy endings. One could even say I am functionally incapable of writing an unhappy ending!

I'm not 100% sure which story is currently victimizing you, but if it happens to be Good Intentions, I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to wrap things up. I like to think that the outline I'm working from strikes a good balance between realism and happiness.

If it's a different story, disregard the last paragraph!
