The Steinbeck family house is a homely one. The fireplace is always lit, the fields are always plentiful, and- "Long time no see." Rose smiles at John as he opens the door. John smiles in return. "Yeah, it sure has been. How's the kid?" Fyodor glances in too, expression unreadable. Rose meets xer gaze for only a minute and restrains a sigh. Of course John brought another freak home.

Though this is meant to be a silly injoke, I did want to also make it look like it could be an actual Pokemon and have some level of coolness. [I'm not very good at jokey art, so I had to take it with some level of seriousness.] At that, I think I succeeded. So what is this guy? He's based on the bread knight injoke from the Imported Cheese Youtube channel. It's a long story, so I won't go into it. But essentially, my husband saw my Bread Knight Ash art and said that it should be called "Panquistador" in Imported Cheese's Discord. I thought this sounded like a Pokemon name, and it gave me the idea for a Charcadet evolution based on a bread knight. Its name is a combination of "pan" - the Spanish word for bread, and conquistador. It is pronounced PAWN-KEESTADOOR ...Yes, this is how I start the New Year. Here's the little info blurb about it: PANQUISTADOR THE BREAD KNIGHT POKEMON NORMAL/GHOST A Charcadet was fed so many Paldean sandwiches by a certain married Lab Duo that it left this mortal coil, resulting in the newly discovered Pokemon Panquistador.
