initial d made me so addicted to eurobeat dammit

Initial D (the anime specifically) is wild in terms of it's choice of mixing media. Like we got 3-d blocky CGI cars in race scenes contrasted with traditional 2-D BUT sometimes in those scenes they go for drawing the cars like the background? And it's usually 2-d cars outside of races but sometimes the 3-d aspect pops up for a bit? The outros mix all that animation with film of folks? The main sound track is Eurobeat? The first few episodes were jarring to watch the sudden changes in design. Anyway, it's fun.
