Iāve been binge watching Parks and Rec and Iāve realized how much I relate to Chris Traeger. Like, Season 4, post breakup with Millicent Gergich. Weāre both so sad and lonely despite being surrounded by wonderful friends.

sometimes - no matter if i am with my family or friends or actaully alone - i get the feeling of being so terribly lonely deep inside. no matter how good i felt before, how much we laughed, how much the people close to me care for me - i just feel lonely and sad. and this scares me to the bones because there are people who care about me and i am not alone, but yet i feel this way. and there are other people out there feeling the same without the support and care i have, without a loving family or caring friends. why do i feel this way when i have no fucking reason to anymore? why do i make it so hard for myself? why do i overthink things and don't let go of the past?
... it's really like i'm opening old scars on my own and then wondering why i'm bleeding...
Tom Fletcher - MBTI
Introverted.
Probably Te/Fi.
Probably Ne/Si.
I think he's a J, he seems to think before he does, internalise information before taking action. Which would make him dominant Si? He's not an ISTJ. So maybe he's a P then. INFP. works pretty well. Fi Ne Te Si.
He does seem like an N, quite creative,INFPs make good authors.
INFP
Yeah, I don't really know what I'm doing
that mbti quiz thing
anonymous submission, hope thatās okay.
i feel like my responses are way too elaborate but iām in conflict about my type and i was hoping you could shed some light haha. no problem if you have too many of these, though!
Complete the sentence:
I am constantly: on edge, at least in public. In private the default seems to be coming up with ideas, I guess? Trying to be creative in some way.
I think constantly about: the things Iām passionate about (which tends to be fandoms and politics), or my own identity. iām often debating over a particular element, not necessarily because Iām in any kind of real turmoil about it (though I am sometimes!) but because Iām just⦠enjoying thinking about it like that.
My greatest goal in life is: to become a music producer who can live solely on their creative output⦠and to write a moderately successful piece of fiction.
My favourite subject is: (I took this as meaning āin schoolā but then my elaborationās outside of an academic context) Music, especially when someone is actually receptive to my complaints about the majority of it, lmao. Also literature and film theory. (This may be relevant: I took film studies last year and I loved all the theory! But the practical work, as in directing a short film, was absolute hell; I was so bad at organizing my actors and getting them to do what I wanted. Plus the idea was too big to be effective for the maximum length, as in two minutes.)
I feel like I am: okay at this stage in my life, albeit somewhat naive and wishy-washy.
I donāt understand why people: are so opposed to positive social change. Also sometimes I struggle to get why someone canāt understandĀ a particular concept if I got it first time, especially if itās something contradictory. And sometimes I get frustrated because people donāt understand the thingsĀ IĀ say. I guess because my thoughts are a lot more coherent than my speech.
People donāt understand why I: disappear, sometimes for months, and then pop back up and feel able to resume the same conversation. Also why Iām so self-deprecating, and why I worry so much about academic stuff. I think they think itās an insult to injury because I generally do get good grades (which they often equate to 'intelligenceā but nah). But I honestly just never want to presume to be in a particular position. Feels like Iām tempting fate.
True/False
1. I like helping people.
True, but only if itās not at an extreme personal cost. 'Put on your own oxygen mask firstā kinda thing.
2. What is moral is determined by society, not from within.
True⦠ish. I interpreted this as 'the needs of those within society determine the moral pathā. Not so much that those who lead, or have ledsociety have the right kind of morality⦠because often they donāt, and often theyāre massive egotists.Ā Does that make sense??
3. I am consideredĀ āirrationalā to many of my friends.
False, but Iām not sure if theyāve never thoughtĀ that.
4. I am idealistic.
True
5. I value hard facts, not what they could mean.
False
6. I speak very quickly.
False,Ā at least by default
7. I have no filter.
False,Ā but I come close when Iām really comfortable with the person iām talking to.
8. I am practical.
True, but that might be based on necessity (as in, 'I want good grades so I have to approach it practicallyā⦠or, 'I am gonna be a poor college kid next year and I need to, you know, eat, so I shouldnāt blow all my savings on video gamesā); Iām not sure.
9. I like being able to tell other people what to do.
False for the most part. Sometimes I wish I were more commanding because at least people would be more predictable.
10. I like to read.
True
11. I have so many dreams, I couldnāt pick just one to follow.
True
12. I have more than 3 strong interests.
True
13. I turn in homework or work on time.Ā
True,Ā if barely.
14. People can rarely tell what Iām feeling.Ā
False
15. I strive to be different.
True. Iād love to say IĀ don'tĀ go out of the way to be unique and/or awkward but with certain stuff (especially choice of media, so, you know, relatively unimportant stuff) I just canāt be bothered with the majority opinion. Iām suspicious of unanimity.
16. Conflict does not bother me.Ā
False.
17. I am not easily bothered by issues like discrimination and sexism, even if I have an opinion on them.
False.
18. I am articulate.
True⦠with some editing. Not in a social (e.g. speaking) context, and certainly not while writing this, lmao.
19. I enjoy empirical science.Ā
False. FlawedĀ theories tend to interest me more, both in terms of their concept and in picking apart all their different faults for myself, if Iām familiar with the field.Ā
20. I mostly read non-fiction.
False
21. I am constantly doing things.
True

ENFP in yet another pithy phrase
An ENFP is someone who can dream a life far bigger than what they are actually capable of living. That can be good or bad.
