some transparency
I've seen some lists going around with creators that use ai and because of the amount of people in the community having an issue with ai and because I'm not a person that wants to hide anything and I'm starting through with cc again slowly now, I'm gonna give you some explanation.
first of all, I DO NOT use ai during the process of creating cc. everything's made by hand, meshes are done by me from the first polygon to the last, textures are either completely drawn by my hands or partly with free textures I find on the internet (which I still try to avoid, because I just enjoy drawing textures, tattoos etc. myself)
now the BUT
I do stumble over ai pics on pinterest and use them as inspiration. I have a big folder with pictures, most of them are photos from idols (because I'm back in my K-pop era apparently) but when I see pics with hairs, accessories, jewelry, etc. that I like, I just save them, wether it's ai or not, because I want to create these things for my sims
so what happens is simply, I see a picture, save it on my computer and throw it in the image viewer and keep it open while working in blender.
