After each teacher training weekend we get a word to focus on. Our current word is "bramacharya" which traditionally means celibacy, but it also means moderating the senses. I connect bramacharya with the yin-yang symbol because to me they both mean balance. Balancing the senses & balancing the good and bad. Too much of anything isn't healthy. It throws everything out of whack. I drew the traditionally black side of the yin-yang in color because sometimes the bad is hard to see. We may think a food/action is good for us because it feels good, but in reality it is just hurting us in the long run. It's important to pay attention to our daily lives to see what we can change for the better. It's hard to give up bad habits, but once they are broken life will be better, healthier, freer. #yogachangedmylife #bramacharya #iloveyoga #yinyang #infinityyogaatl
