Shortly before the access to the avenue is visible the 'Leopardian Sacello', reproduction of the one already existing in the church of San Vitale in Naples, where Leopardi is buried, now in the Virgilian park. A little further on is the monument placed by professors and students from the National Center for Leopardi Studies in the first centenary of their birth (1898).
