who are you glad you've met?
Stephen because he’s helped me though a lot of stuff these past years, and he’s a super cutie.
Dj because somehow even though he agrees that I suck at college, he can still give me great advice about school and stuff. Plus his snaps are the best.
Ashley Because if I hadn’t met her, I wouldn’t have known anybody who was going to be in my section in BT and would have freaked.
Maria because she made me feel 100% better about marching in Blue Thunder, and she made rehearsal and games so much more fun.

I saw someone else post something similar, so I wanted to share my experience with DCI rejection and acceptance.
In 2011 I marched: The Blue Knights. After being cut from: Carolina Crown. In 2012 I marched: The Bluecoats (as an alternate for the first two weeks of all days). After being cut from: The Santa Clara Vanguard. And after being denied the opportunity to fill alternate spots with: The Boston Crusaders, The Spirit of Atlanta, and The Cadets. In 2013 I marched: The Santa Clara Vanguard. After being cut from: The Phantom Regiment. In 2014 I will be aging out with: The Santa Clara Vanguard because I have finally found my family. DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS. ANY OF YOU. BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL POSSIBLE.

so I'm just sitting in the band hall being semi quiet because Maria is over on the other end of the couch sleeping, and this 40ish year old lady walks in, and just stares at her for a good 3 minutes.
