Joseph Joestar was no slacker, especially not now when he was at one of his weakest points. Without Hamon, and with his Stand limited to merely existing, he needed to rely on two other things to carry him to victory- his brain, and his brawn. His mind was as creative as ever, his body however, could be better.
Which is why he’s been hitting the gym five times a week, early in the morning and staying for no less than 2 hours at a time. Cardio, lower body, abs, upper body, cardio again, then leave and go get a good post workout meal. Currently, he’s just finished his ab workout (consisting of weighted sit-ups hanging from the pull-up bar), and is halfway through his upper body workout. Wearing a mask to restrict his breathing, he’s calmly and smoothly executing one-handed pull-ups, several sets with each hand. While it might be cheating on his left hand due to the metal prosthetic, he still felt it wrong to skip that arm, so he simply didn’t.
Wiping his forehead with a towel, he shakes out his arms and proceeds to the weight rack. There’s another gentleman there using the weight bar. Joseph was going to use that for chest presses.
“Can I use that when you’re done?”
