A symbol for "Inexian"
Years back, I made a term called Inexian, also called Inexbeing. It's an umbrella term, describing an alterhuman identity or experience that can't be described, named, or understood by others. You might be able to understand it innately- or not- but conveying it to others feels difficult, or even impossible.
Inex- can be used as a prefix, as well. You could be inexkin, inexhearted, or something like that. Inexian on its own can cover any sort of alterhuman experience, but you can always further specify if you'd like to.
I think, after toying around with it in an editing program for long enough, I've come up with a pretty good symbol. It's meant to be both two mirrored question mark signs, but it can also represent a link or chain that represents the identity itself, and its personal link to you. The partly-closed loop around it could represent the barrier between how it exists for you, versus the difficulty of trying to share it with others.
The original post for it is here, where I initially made a flag, but not a proper symbol like it deserved. I had added one of the general alterhuman symbols for it, unsure of what a good symbol would be. I always told myself I would get back to it... but I didn't know it'd take this long! Oh, well.
I put a bunch of different versions of the symbol on here, but I have to say, I personally really like the filled in one with the black background and border. I like them all quite a bit, though.
