I know most people who have fetishes and kinks have at least some amount of shame if they are ones not mainstream or accepted.
But compared to our sibling* kinks: snz and eructo and our adjacent* kinks: emeto, stuffing, and inebriation; we seem to have the least active communities and seemingly the most shame and embarrassment when it comes to sharing or admitting our kink.
I might be completely misreading the situation, but the recent poll got me thinking as most people stated that the snz kinksters had more content and community, and it seemed to be more acceptable (though by a TINY margin).
Why do YOU think hiccup kinksters are so much shyer/not as active and have less of a community than other kinks? Is it simply a lesser number of individuals like hiccups? Or is it the nature of the fetish itself?
*"sibling" and "adjacent" categorizations are all my own opinion, not a factual or accepted label.
(Snzblr, eructo, emeto, stuffers, and inebriation kinksters feel free to weigh in as well! I have no answers I'm just curious. And I apologize if I use wrong tags for some of the kinks.)
