For my museum/gallery review I visited the Cantor Arts Center. In that museum, I went to the Do Ho Suh exhibit.  The featured art at this exhibit are the chandelier, wallpaper, and the colorful screen. The work on  display are the Who Am We? (wallpaper)(2000), the Screen (screen)(2005), and the Cause and Effect (chandelier)(2007). The subject matter of this exhibit was to focus on migration and transnational identity. I liked this exhibit because from far away the pieces were beautiful and simple, but after you get a closer look you realize how meaningful each piece is.  Although, there is one thing that I didn’t like about this exhibit was  that it was very small, it only contained 3 pieces of art.

For example, from far away the screen just looks like a wall of a colorful patterns, but when you get a closer look at the screen you see that the pattern, is people, and that every person on the screen is different.  When I look at the screen I see that the people are also holding one another up, which created a symmetrical pattern for the screen.
