Take a bite of Paula Deen's 5 Minute Fudge, which is rich and creamy. Feeling hungry for something sweet This quick and easy fudge recipe is just what you need.
Ingredients: 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Cover an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some extra on the sides to make it easy to take off. Put the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Put the mixture in the microwave on high for one minute, and then stir it to mix it. Stir the mixture every 30 seconds while it's still in the microwave until it's smooth and all melted, which should take about two to three minutes in total. Add the vanilla extract and nuts, if using, and mix them in well. Pour the fudge mix into the baking pan that has been prepared and spread it out evenly. Put the fudge in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets. When the fudge is set, use the extra parchment paper to lift it out of the pan and set it on a cutting board. You can cut the fudge into squares or rectangles. Serve and have fun! Any extra fudge should be kept in the fridge in a container that won't let air in.
