Last Saturday I gave the horses at home a day off and went to Indoor Brabant with Karolien. Such a nice venue and as always in Holland, very well organized. We had an awesome time in the cosy Brabanthallen and enjoyed watching a few of the world’s best riders. Hopefully I can compete there myself soon !
During the break of the GP freestyle there was a very emotional farewell of Parzival. They have been together now for 15 years. That is a very long friendship. I’ve had my very first horse for 10 years before we eventually sold him to the UK. It’s always very painful to let a friend/soulmate ‘s destiny in the hands of someone else but unfortunately we can’t keep them all. Seeing Adeline and Parzival made me realize even more to really try to enjoy the horses - and life in general - every single day to the fullest.
