Vallonne Vineyards 2013 Merlot: Now here's something you don't see every day: a wine from India. Outside of enjoying a Sula Chenin Blanc a number of years ago, I haven’t had an opportunity to try anything from this country (and I actively seek out juice from off the beaten path places). This Merlot is rather interesting. There’s herbaceousness, green peppercorn, mineral, and low-key oak notes surrounding red berry fruit and plum flavors.
