In my scripts and config files I use tabs rather than spaces (and set my tabstop to 8 at that), which I'm aware is an uncommon practice, but at least what I'm doing makes more sense than the codebase for the S-Lang library:
If this were 3, 5, 8, 10, and then 13 spaces it'd be bad enough, but no. It's actually: 3 spaces, 5 spaces, 1 tab, 1 tab 2 spaces, 1 tab 5 spaces. I admire the sheer level of self-confidence the programmer has, but what the fuck.
