There have been a few posts floating around that describe mental disorders in ways that are easier to understand for those who don't suffer them. Wonderful! There have also been posts telling people things that tumblr doesn't teach you. Great! And many posts telling people to stop romanticising disorders and habits. Awesome! Well done to those who made the posts and to those who are spreading them! Point here is that I went through a mental health tag relevant to myself and it's all black and white gifs, quotes, shirts with shitty little sayings. Everyone's big on stopping the romanticisation of depression, suicide, anxiety disorders and all sorts but NOT ONCE have I heard of any post telling people off for romanticising psychosis or similar disorders. Psychosis is crippling, much like depression. Sufferers can hear multiple voices, can hallucinate and so much more. You do not feel like you are in control of your own mind or body. It is horrid. It is not tshirts saying "I put the hot in psychotic". It is far from it. I have put through multiple people through my episodes and have frightened people. I frighten myself sometimes. It IS NOT HOT. Also, I do NOT think about mudering and killing people. I don't think I've ever attempted to kill anyone, even when I'm in a psychotic state and am blacked out. So, point is, STOP ROMANTICISING PSYCHOSIS.
the Homestuck fandom is like the forgotten fandom we just sit in the corner and look upon posts while we with to be included in them
