I've*finally* got the bustle for this outfit starting to look how I want it to.
Gotta work on the tucks up top after I see the current pleating in, but I might actually finish this tonight after months of dithering over how I wanted it to look.

He learned from the best. I mean, the worst. *Sigh* Unlike Seren, at least he doesn't try to bite me when I try to move him off the fabric.
And in the time it took me to start this post, he went to sleep. Adorable little jerkbutt.
I’m making masks!! Haven’t posted any art projects recently cus they’re all in progress, but thought I’d show these since I’m proud of em!!
The left is the one I’m making for my V!avid costplay, and the other I’m gonna cover in googly eyes.
So I rescued another piece of IKEA furniture from the dumpster of my apartment building. This ones in pretty good shape-- the plastic on the seat is stained a bit yellow, and one of the bolts that attaches the legs to the seat was overtightened and actually ripped the plastic, but overall once it was cleaned it'a just fine. Thanks, neighbors, for continuing to throw out stuff like this. I don't really NEED it but it will be nice to have a seat with a back on it for when I'm working at the kitchen table (it's annoying to drag my desk chair back and forth). Plus it's an extra seat when people come over. I now own TWO whole chairs! Of course, there's not REALLY room for it so it's in kind of an awkward spot, but whatevs. I want to cover up the vaguely unpleasant looking plastic, but it's the kind that's super hard to paint, ESPECIALLY since I can't spraypaint. I should be able to decoupage just fine though, so once I get some paper that'll work (or some I can paint) I'll just do that. Not bad for the price of lugging it up to my apartment.
So I currently (well, not actually currently by the time this posts, since I'm throwing it in my queue) have scattered all across my apartment the following things that have the polycrylic on them drying:
5 dresser drawer fronts (from the dumpster diving dresser)
All 4 pieces from my entranceway organizer (still have to poly the side that's face down though)
A coat tree (it's finally almost done! just have to paint and poly the base)
A cutting board
A wooden spoon
...yeah
Edit: So, since I threw this post in the queue, I figured I might as well edit it since the next day I kept going. So in addition to all of the above, which is now dry but still needs to cure (which admittedly takes like a month so for most of it I'll at least assemble the furniture even if I don't start using it before then), I know have the following things that are drying from being painted:
The entire frame of the dumpster driving dresser (two large side panels, one top panel, 4 legs, 5 bracing sort of pieces idk what to call them)
10 drawer knobs from the dumpster diving dresser
2 drawers from my kitchen cart
The bottom of the coat tree (admittedly this doesn't take up any more space since it's just a different part of something I polyed most of yesterday)
1 plant pot
And soon (tomorrow or the next day) I'm going to paint all the dresser drawers grey that I need to (8 of those total) and poly all of those plus the coat tree, kitchen drawers, and the legs and bracing pieces from the dumpster diving dresser (I want to sand down the panels and knobs with some extra fine sand paper I still have to get before I poly them).

So this list is pretty much just for my own purposes, but figured I might as well just stick it here.
Stuff to paint yellow (round 1):
Frame of dumpster diving dresser
Tops of drawers of kitchen cart (like I did with my kitchen table)
Bottom legs of coat rack
Plant pot
Stuff to paint yellow (round 2)
Printer stand
Stuff to paint yellow (eventually-- need to get primer)
Shoe bench
Stuff to stain:
Drawer fronts of dumpster diving dresser
Entrance organizer
Top of kitchen cart (after stencil top)
Stuff to paint grey:
Interiors of Rast dresser drawers that I missed before
Interiors of dumpster diving dresser drawers
Stuff that is small details that will be painted:
Stencil kitchen cart (multiple colors-- yellow, red, blue, green, and wood glue/water mix to block stain)
Cutting boards (have one, need to get a few more, paint edges various colors---green, more)
Wooden utensils (have one, will have three once I get to the IKEA that has the last two I want in stock-- paint handles green, more)
POLY ALL THE THINGS
