Either they did not hear it, or did not pay it any heed. After all it may have been only some animal in a hunters trap- it was far off and hard to pin-point in the open field. But there it came again, and Knox turned his head to scan the horizon. There was nothing but a gnarled old tree on the wide dull expanse- and yet he heard a cry.β
Some surprise old art from an animatic that goes along with the opening of my happy little self-indulgent novel. I began this soon after college and promptly forgot all about until finding it tucked away in a folder on my laptop. I finished the last three panels today so apologies for the slight change in artistic style.
