Aside from popular beleif I am actually VERY proud of my daughter for her little hotel.

I'm proud of myself because this is the first time I was able to make my Ego stfu and ignore the bad shit my dad was saying to me because he was mad. I used to respond back and we ended up arguing pretty harshly, but this time I kept my cool and just followed with what I was doing, not paying attention to what he was saying. In my head I kept repeating "it doesn't define me". I breathed in and out and just let it go✨🙏🏻

Yesterday i got backlash for sharing my opinions and perception of current events. I will not apologize for my outlook and perception of the world. I am open to an conversation exchange and I am open to keep growing. Where I am mentally is rooted in my experiences and my studies and if my non filter approach doesn’t sit well with you, thats on you. Not my problem. My Elders and my spirit tells me I am doing the right thing and giving breath to voices that were silenced for decades for other peoples comfort.
