Taylor Swift gold rush - Claude Monet details
These are my first digital illustrations I've ever made, the main subject is an old married couple living in a cottage in the middle of a large valley populated by weird and ambiguously dangerous monsters. (Part 1 of 2, probably)
Some photo studies I did :D

My favorite Monet piece, “The Japanese Bridge at Giverny”
When I started to walked past it in the museum I was frozen, I couldn’t move my eyes for quite some time
Funny, this one he painted after his blindness had overtaken
So while it may not have been marked with the same intent from him, I’m swept away by this visual portrayal of the perfect cosmic kiss: that his eyes painted his artwork for him at the end of his days

did a quick oil painting on a 20 x 8 canvas :D
** im not very experienced with oil paint and this is the first time i used oil paint to do something other than a landscape!! the painting didn’t come out how i visualised it at all but i still like it. i realise it isn’t perfect but for a first try it’s pretty neat in my opinion
