Imporant news regarding Imports to US
Sooooo because new small part import bans are being implemented, imports on calico critters (and other toy brands) to the US are likely to be halted soon. Ive seen several popular Japan import shops make announcements that theyre no longer shipping to the US.
This is also why US versions of critter sets are looking different lately...clothes are being screen printed on instead of having depth with buttons and pompoms, small accessories are being replaced. , etc. One big example is the new US giraffe set having a telescope instead of the camera and binoculars. Im guessing the Hedgehogs got replaced because of the combs, giving them hair accesory instead. This is not looking good for the US market overall though.
