19.) What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)

Oh, man. They don’t actually bicker much, so I’ll go with the big one. Let me preface this by saying that Casey had an incredibly hard time with his father’s death. It was the cherry on top of his already pre-existing struggle with his newfound disabilities, and he just… spiraled for a bit. Case was always a bit wild, but he really leaned in to the drinking and reckless behavior from 19-21, going as far as to hide the fact that his doctor explicitly told him he needed to slow down from both his mother and Lily. Lil finding out triggered a pretty wicked knockdown dragout, where she was basically begging him to take care of himself, and he admitted that he didn’t care to — not for her, not for himself, not anyone. He hadn’t really expressed any of that verbally until now, and I won’t get too explicit re: how badly he actually spiraled that particular night, but… it was definitely traumatizing for them both. They actually got unexpectedly engaged a week after that night, and then another week later he broke up with her. A week after that? She packed up and moved to Dallas.

29.) First date? (Give as much or little detail)

So. Lily and Casey disagree on this to this very day, so I’ll give you both of their opinions on what their first date was.

Lily considers their first date to be the day that he first kissed her in the hospital, which happened to be his 17th birthday. He’d been in for about two months by then, and was firmly still in the On Crutches But Just About To Start Physical Therapy For Real portion of his recovery. He wasn’t allowed to go far from his room, but he was allowed to take “walks” around the floor itself. Lily had been coming up to keep him company almost every day since he was admitted, and obviously his birthday was no different. It wasn’t a particularly remarkable day — they watched a movie in his room with his parents, and then it was “walk” time when they headed down to the cafeteria. About 3/4 of the way down the hallway, freshly 17 year old Casey decided to make his move: he said her name, and leaned over to kiss her when she turned her head. Did he immediately almost fall over? Yes. Did he get scolded by a nurse? Absolutely. Was it worth it? 1000%.

night: What does your OC wear to sleep? Do they have a favorite pair of PJs, or are they more the birthday suit type?

Lily is a chronic oversized t-shirt (preferably stolen from a partner) and underwear sleeper. She really, really wishes that she was a matching silk sleepwear kinda gal, but regrettably she is not. She’ll sleep naked if it’s super hot and she doesn’t have a suitable fan or AC, but the aforementioned anxiety is usually telling her that there’s gonna be a fire and she’ll have to flee naked, so… t-shirt it is.

texture: Does your OC favor any specific kinds of cloth or textures? Is there anything they can't wear or don't like? What sort of fabrics do they prefer?

Lily prefers cotton, lace, and sometimes silk or cashmere. She’s not overly picky when it comes to textures/materials, honestly. Leather is a pretty hard no when it comes to something like pants, but she won’t turn down a quality leather jacket or shoes.
