College Advice, From Mom
My cousin posted a pic saying that he’s off to college on Monday and asking for advice since it’s his first day. My mom replied the post saying,
“First day ading, location hunt ka. Saan yung mga maayos na toilets, classrooms mo, gym, admin offices. Pero pinaka-importante ang toilets 😜. Aral ka mabuti ha? At maging mapili sa mga grupong sasamahan. Dapat ang mga tropa mo yung pursigido rin mag-aral at makapagtapos. God bless cuz!”.
Translation:
On the first day, go location hunting. Look for where the clean toilets are, your classrooms, gym, admin offices. But the most important are the toilets 😜. Study hard ok? And be selective when it comes to groups you hangout with. Your group of friends should also be determined to study at finish [their education]. God bless cuz!.
So yeah, if you know anyone going to college, but you believe that they wouldn’t survive on the first day, show them this post I guess. I’m not yet going to college, and honestly it’s going to take a few more years ‘til I do, but this does seem to be good advice.
