I was raised by a single mother who was more well off and educated than most single black mothers. cool. now, I should have been somewhere else in life statistically, but I'm not. that's fine because I have learned so much about me and life. i am as cool as a summer breeze in Cali. but I hurt so much we all have feel reading perspectives online and how another feels having that type of access has changed me in a great way not an enraged or pitiful type of change. I want nothing more in this life than for my kids to embrace my mindset and experience the beauty I have yet to be exploited to other than on tumblr. ha live the life they want but having that option the chance to do them I have been held back educationally, systematically, and I personally gave in to it being my first racial negative experience I don't like the word race, we are one race it's funny how history will alter the truth education is powerful wherever you get it I will do my best to educate these two beautiful beings and protect them. I'll give myself that opportunity if I don't take it and go get it. they'll look at me dead in my eyes with opportunity and pass it to a similar face. I'll tell you what's not happening, this country raising my kids, that's my job. I got that
