SUMMARY: As a B&B owner on the most remote of all the British Isles, Louis Tomlinson is used to spending the coldest half of the year in complete isolation, with his dog and the sea as sole companions. Until, one day, a mysterious stranger on a quest to rebuild himself rents a room for the winter.
MY RECOMMENDATION: This author is one of my favorites. I’ve loved every single one of her fics, and will probably end up doing recs for each of those, but this fic is just something else.
Gorgeously written, it’s a story about finding yourself in a place, and a person. It’ about finding a way to find your kind of quiet in a frenetic world.
