What textbook is it?

The cold is blazing against your skin and you’ve never felt this alive before; not when you dodged, not when you ran, not when you stood your ground to face the consequences. The world swirls around you and there is no telling Earth from Sky. You are blind, but you’re seeing nuances you never imagined before. The horizon is an abstract concept that you’ve almost forgotten the meaning of. You’ve never, ever, felt this alive.

papaya: what song describes your aesthetic?

honestly, the first one that comes to mind is ‘my name is satan’ by stephen lynch, because it’s incredibly silly and i also love the juxtaposition between the horrible content of the lyrics and the way it’s sung, which i feel describes my sort of humor very well.

if we’re going for something that’s not incredibly stupid though, it’s more difficult, because i don’t really have a defined aesthetic???, but i think it’ll have to be ‘of a friday night’ by anaïs mitchell. i love stories, i love the quiet not-quite-sadness of it all, and i think it describes a sort of tiny, but infinite hope and belief that all people have the capacity to be and do good.
