Here is my off-the-island-opinion...my two cents...I’m just sayin’...yeah buddy...said no one ever...but this is just me.
We are in the midst of a dearth of Jimin and Jungkook sightings. Yes, even I, in my seemingly infinite vocabulary, had to look up “dearth”. No, it is not dearth as in death, ermagawd stop. Dearth: scarcity or lack of something. The opposite being plethora (large or excessive amount). Words are fun! ANYWAY.
Thought I would just share some eye candy today.
I have always found Jimin to be more sensual and Jungkook as more... I don’t know... Where are the words when I need them?
Jungkook can be sexy as hell just standing there but is he naturally sensual like Jimin? Jimin can be cute as a yellow cupcake with pink sprinkles but I believe that is something he mostly turns on for the cameras and is not his natural state of being.
Those who have encountered Jimin in the real world have said he has an intimidating aura. I mean...its Park Jimin...the Moon himself, there’s gonna be an aura, right? Who wouldn’t be struck down at the sight of this?
Whereas, JK is more of a, for lack of a better word but a great word nonetheless: a nonconformist. A maverick. A free spirit. Bohemian. A doom cookie...hahahahahahahaa. That one was funny. His natural state of being is this:
To illustrate my points (this is humor and there is no point just look at the pretty pictures):
Jimin walking. His natural gait is just graceful:
Junkgook walking. Such a free spirit:
(Jimin watching him the entire time makes me laugh.)
Jimin’s tight pants... very sensual. What are those rings for Jimin? Is that to hang toys off of? I MEAN TOOLS...TOOLS IS WHAT I MEANT. Tools, toys, what’s the difference though...
Jungkook’s baggy pants...very bohemian. You could hide tools and toys in there along with...nevermind.
Oh but wait, I remembered these sensual pants JK wore. Made him move extra sexy that day.
More differences so that I have an excuse to look at more pics:
Jimin’s pillow lips...so sensuous.
Jungkook’s cupid bow lips, also sensuous. Damn, he’s so pretty here.
Jimin eating.
Jungkook eating.
Okay eating is not very sensual sometimes.
So obviously, if you are still reading this, you see I had no point whatsoever in posting this except I needed something to do. So there you have it.
Yes, they are very nice pics to look at on a big Tuesday. But on the other hand, I kinda think if any of us were to have the (amazingly not gonna happen) opportunity to actually have an in-person conversation with either of them we’d be floored by their intellect behind those pretty faces. And then we’d get to hear JK say LESSS GO!

Well folks here is the last part to The Titano-Kraken. This final piece of Durus’s backstory shows what happens during his last days in the facility as well as him meeting another inkling since his time being experimented on.
Special cameo appearances of @ask-the-little-inkling‘s ocs Ursy and Ula!
Anyways I do hope you enjoy the conclusion of The Titano-Kraken!
Log Date: May 17
Time: 1245 hours
Subject A-1409 and A-1401 have shown remarkable stages of development with the K-Chem serums. As of this log they have been administered the stage 3 and 4 samples of the serum, they bodies grown accustom to the initial effects of them. A-1409 shows a major shift in body structure as his extra limbs are very effective in combat use. However A-1401 has not shown these same kinds of developments. No matter, we must press on our research and meet our deadline by tomorrow.
Doctor Ekol Folter
(A week later...)
“Excellent work A-1409!”
Durus stood in the testing chamber once again, the countless boxes and shipping containers that once housed the Octo-bots now scattered around the room in pieces. He was breathing heavily and his tentacles were poised to strike at anything. But there was something different about him. His eyes looked glazed over, as though he were in a trance. His body had also changed, from his once frail frame into a muscular powerhouse derived from constant K-Chem exposure and daily physical training. However his mind has been dulled from the substance, his conscious almost suppressed.
“That is all for today A-1409. You may return to your cell.”
Durus only turned to the exit and awaited for the guards to escort him out. As they walked back to the cells the guards were making small talk, but Durus didn’t listen. All he could hear was a subtle but mind-numbing buzz that had been going on for the past few days.
A few minutes later the group reached Durus’s cell. The guards opened the door and the mutated inkling walked in, taking a seat at his bed before watching the guards close the door and lock it from the corner of his eyes. A moment later the door to the cells closed, leaving the rooms quiet. For a moment the inkling could only hear the buzzing, the noise droning on and on in his head.
“Psst!” A voice hissed. Durus snapped out of his trance and looked across the hall to see Imbo motioning to him. “Durus! Are you alright?”
He got up from his bed and walked to the barred gate, holding them with both hands. “Yeah. I’m fine.” He answered, his voice sounding hoarse.
“Well you don’t sound fine to me.”
“Really Imbo, I’m fine...” Durus looked away and rubbed his temples. A few minutes of silence passed. “How about you?”
Imbo looked confused at first. “Heh, don’t worry about me. I’m fine.”
Durus didn’t believe him and took a closer look. He saw that Imbo’s arms were bruised in some spots and his skin had splotches of dark color.
“Well you don’t look fine to me.” Durus called to him. Imbo looked to his arms and held them in a vain effort to conceal his condition.
“Looks like you caught me.” Imbo tried to joke but only winced when he gripped his arms.
“You’re dying, aren’t you?” Durus asked.
Imbo was about to answer him when he started coughing. “No, no I- cough I’m fine. Really I...” Imbo collapsed onto his cell floor.
“Imbo!” Durus yelled, slamming the bars of his cell. He could only watch as Imbo started convulsing and retching, a dark fluid pooling around him. Durus continued to scream, unable to help the inkling and looked in horror as the inkling before him slowly died.
“D...Durus...” He groaned, slowly pushing himself up with his arms.
“Yes Imbo?”
“Do me... one last favor? Please?”
“Of course, anything!”
“Try... to find my friends. Tell them... tell them that I love them.”
“Yeah. I promise Imbo.”
“...Thank you.” Imbo’s body went limp, his body splashing in the pool of dark fluid around him.
“Imbo!” Durus yelled once more as his grip on the bars tightened. Suddenly the hall door opened and a few guards made their way towards Durus’s cell.
“What the hell is going on here?” One of the guards demanded. Durus didn’t pay attention to them, his eyes focused on the now dead inkling. “Hey! Didn’t you hear me lab rat?” The guard drew out a baton and struck the bars of Durus’s cell. Even that didn’t distract Durus. “Alright that’s it!” The guard unlocked his cell door and was about to grab hold of Durus when a tentacle wrapped around the guard’s wrist. “Wh-what the?”
“I’ve had enough of this place.” The next thing the guard knew he was flying towards the end of the hallway and slamming onto the door. The other guards looked and saw Durus standing before them with his tentacles thrashing to and fro, awaiting their next target.
“Holy shit! Run for it!” The guards immediately ran towards the exit, but a couple were caught by some tentacles.
“Oh Cod! No, please!”
“Have mercy on us!”
Durus stared at the bound guards and made a sinister grin. “Oh, I don’t think you deserve that.”
Screams of terror echoed throughout the facility as the first guard escaped and made his way to the barracks. Shit! I gotta call for reinforcements!
(An hour later...)
“Emergency alert! Test subject has escaped! Emergency alert!”
Alarm systems blared across the facility as dozens of armed guards, equipped with riot padding, stun batons, and tranquilizer guns headed towards the holding cells. At first the news that only one test subject didn’t bother the majority of the guards. But when they realized who had escaped the severity of the situation drastically skyrocketed.
“”Be sure to keep the subject alive! I don’t have to start back at square one people!” The head scientist, Doctor Ekol Folter, strictly instructed and lead the guards to their objective. Eventually two squads were waiting at each side of the doorway, waiting for the signal to move in. The squad leader motioned to them and burst through the door, only to find a shocking sight. All the barred gates were either torn down or bent open, leaving the cells empty of the test subjects. The guards that were attacked by Durus were tied up with some metal bars from his own cell and were unconscious in it. As for Durus himself, he was waiting for them at the other end of the hallway, his tentacles eager to attack. Doctor Folter carefully made his way to the front of the guards and held a megaphone up to his mouth. “Subject A-1409, stand down and we won’t have to use force against you!”
Durus didn’t react.
“I am warning you A-1409! If you do not surrender peacefully, we will use force to subdue you!”
Again, no reaction from the inkling.
Doctor Folter threw the megaphone onto the floor. “Fine then. Guards, ready your tranq guns!” Two row of guards readied their weapons and aimed at Durus. The inkling still didn’t react.
“Fire!” Several darts flew towards the inkling. However Durus’s tentacles were able to stop the attack as several of them either deflected or merely swatted the projectiles out of the air. Many of the shooters staggered back in surprise.
“What the hell?”
“That’s impossible!”
“Game over dude! Game over!”
The guards started to back away from Durus, look of fear present in their eyes. Durus then looked down to the numerous darts lying on the ground and grinned. The tentacles around him reached down and began picking up the projectiles until he had most of them in his grasp.
“My turn.” Durus’s tentacles began throwing the darts back to the guards, hitting them one by one. Moments later several of the guards were unconscious from the tranquilizers, leaving Doctor Folter and a handful of guards standing before Durus.
“Get up there guards!” Doctor Folter ordered, nudging a few towards the inkling. However they immediately dropped their weapons and made a desperate run for the exit. The remaining guards followed suit, leaving the scientist alone with his experiment. “Get back here you cowards!” But he heard heavy stomping behind him, his breathing became choppy and his eyes dilated in fear.
“How ironic Doctor,” Durus scoffed, his tentacles whipping around and lashing at the scientist. “The thing that you created is going to be your end.”
Doctor Folter turned around and saw the inkling just meters away from him. “No! Stay back!”
“What you did to me, to Imbo, and to all the others you’ve cruelly treated can never be forgiven.” Durus sent out his tentacles and grabbed hold of the scientist.
“No, please! I-I’ll do anything!” He begged, struggling in vain to break free of Durus’s grasp.
“It’s too late for that.” Durus glared at the scientist, his eyes now a mixture of a sickly yellow and bloodshot. “But you’re coming with me.”
(Outside the facility...)
Dozens of armored fighting vehicles and even more armed guards were waiting at the entrance, their ink weapons pointing at the reinforced doors for anything.
“Alright troops, nothing gets out without a fight. Understood?” The guard commander ordered.
“Yessir!” The guards shouted in unison. For a moment all was quiet. Suddenly the doors started to bend, something from the inside trying to smash its way through.
“Stand your ground!” The commander shouted. The doors continued to bend, the banging getting louder an louder with every strike.
“Steady...” The doors were at the verge of breaking off their hinges.
“Steady!” The banging stopped, catching the guards by surprise.
“What the-” The doors flew towards the nearest group of guards before slamming into one of the vehicles, taking down a handful of them. The remaining guards, as well as the commander, looked in shock as an inkling emerged, several tentacles waving back and forth while a few others held someone in front if the inkling.
“Hold your fire!” The commander shouted. The guards lowered their weapons and held their positions.
“Hngh! Don’t shoot!” The hostage cried out, trying to loosen a tentacle wrapped around his neck. “It’s me, Doctor Folter!”
“My Cod...” The commander muttered to himself. “All units, ready your weapons!”
“No you imbeciles! Don’t shoot me!”
“Fire!” The guards let loose a hail of ink as Durus used the scientist to shield himself.
“Grah!” Doctor Folter shrieked before succumbing to the intense firepower. Durus then threw the scientist at a small squad of guards, sending them flying back a few meters. He then focused his attention to the other guards and attacked, his tentacles lashing out and either impaling or whacking them aside. The scene became a maelstrom of guards attempting to fight back, exploding vehicles, and several splatters of ink staining the ground.
“Look out, he’s coming in from the left!”
“Shit! He just wiped out another squad!”
“Incoming tentacles!”
Minutes later the front of the facility looked like a war zone, with almost every vehicle in flames and dozens of guards lying all over the place. The commander of the guards, lying in his command vehicle severely injured, was trying to cover a wound in his midsection.
“Urgh! This guy’s too strong!” He hissed, the pain from his body almost too much to bear. “I... need to call in more backup!” He tried to reach for his radio but felt a wave of pain shoot up his arm as a foot stomped onto it. “Augh!” He cried out and looked up to see the inkling towering before him, his yellow, bloodshot eyes glaring down at his own. “Oh dear Cod...” was all he could say before a half dozen tentacles thrashed at him.
(A few days later in the center of Inkopolis, near Booyah Base...)
The day seemed to be full of life as inklings and jellies walked to and fro, minding their own business. Some inklings were arriving from Inkopolis Train Station in order to get started on the first turf war matches while others were coming from the nearby parking lots.
A pair of inklings, a young light blue inkling no more than 8 years of ago and a yellow green haired inkling, were walking to Booyah Base. The former was holding onto a small leafy sea slug, keeping it snug in her arms while the latter was carrying her Krak-on Splat Roller in a duffle bag strapped over her shoulder.
“I can’t wait to watch you fight in some turf wars!” The little inkling chimed, jumping up and down in excitement.
“Well I know you’ve been looking forward to watching so I’m glad I had time for today.” The older inkling replied, patting her younger sibling’s head. “I do hope you have fun though Ursy.”
“You too sis!” The light blue inkling giggled before running ahead of her sister towards Booyah Base. The older inkling couldn’t help but chuckle in delight as she followed her sister.
(A few hours later...)
After several turf war matches, the two decided to take a break at one of the nearby diners with Ursy getting a milkshake and her big sister ordering herself a coral burger, seaweed fries, and a medium soda. The pair took this time to talk about the matches, especially how Ursy was constant cheering for her sister and how slightly embarrassing it was.
“Oh come on Ula. I wasn’t trying to embarrass you.” Ursy pouted, keeping her milkshake close to her.
“I know that Ursy,” Ula tried to reassure her sister. “but sometimes your cheering tends to... bother some people.”
“What?” The little inkling squeaked, catching the attention of a few customers. “I do not!”
“Ursy please-”
“Come on sis you know I’m just trying to help you!”
“Ursy now’s not a good time to-”
“You know that, right sis?”
Ula looked around her little sister and saw that the customers were still staring at the two, a few giving her a confused look.
“Of course Ursy.” Ula sighed. “Let’s just finish our meals and drinks, okay?”
(20 minutes later...)
The two left the diner and started to walk home, neither of them in the mood to talk. Ursy merely held her pet sea slug and followed her big sister, her thoughts pondering on their chat in the diner. I hope Ula’s not mad at me. But her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a faint groaning coming from an alley they were walking past. She looked down the passageway and saw a few tentacles lying on the ground behind a large dumpster. She looked back to her sister who was already getting farther away. However her curiosity got the better of her and walked down the alley, slowly getting closer to the tentacles.
“H-hello?” She called out, careful not to raise her voice too loudly. The tentacles twitched in response. Ursy stepped back and stared at them for a moment before approaching them once more. “Is... is someone there?”
“Hmmph. Who’s there?” A raspy voice asked.
“Uh...” Ursy mumbled. “I’m Ursy. Who are you?” The little inkling watched as a larger inkling stood up from behind the dumpster, several tentacles waving around him. “Woah...” she muttered, unsure whether to be scared or surprised.
The inkling stomped a few steps towards Ursy, careful not to get too close as his tentacles started to move wildly. “I am Durus. And you should get going little one.”
Ursy looked to the giant in confusion. “Why mister?”
Durus let out a sigh, trying to keep his tentacles under control. “I am very dangerous to be around. So please, go away before I hurt you...”
“Mister,” Ursy stepped a little closer. “Why do you think you’ll hurt me?”
Durus was taken back by the little inkling’s persistence, if anything he would be impressed by her bravery. But he was too focused on taming his tentacles to take notice. “Please Ursy. Don’t come any closer.” His voice sounded shaken and choppy as he started to panic, taking a few steps back from the inkling. He shut his eyes, trying his hardest to control himself when she reached for a tentacle and held it gently.
“See?” Ursy chimed.
Durus opened his eyes and saw that the little inkling was looking up to him, one of her hands gingerly holding onto one of his tentacles. He looked around and saw that nothing had happened. In fact all the other tentacles around him seemed to relax and calm themselves. “Wh-what? But how did you-”
“It’s alright mister. Okay?” She gave him a big warm smile. Durus could only look back to the girl in awe. This young inkling put herself in potential danger that she didn’t even know and yet here they were, nothing horrifying happening. The alley was quiet and the two stood silently.
“Yeah. Alright little one.” Durus gave her a warm smile in return and sat down onto the ground. Ursy did as well, taking a seat a few inches away from the large inkling.
“Hey, wanna meet my pet?” She raised her arms towards Durus, her leafy sea slug wriggling around in her hands. He reached a hand to her and carefully held the slug and watched it blink at him before it slithered around his arm. A tentacle reached to the slug and stroked the critter down its back, causing it to emit a content purr.
The two inklings continued to talk for a little while longer, Durus talking about what had happened to him without freaking out the little inkling and Ursy talking about how she and her sister were going home from their day at Booyah Base.
“Oh no! I forgot I was walking with my sister home!” Ursy cried out, clutching her leafy sea slug close to her. Durus looked to the inkling with concern. The thought of this little girl in tears didn’t sit well with him. He reached a hand to her and patted her shoulder.
“Don’t cry little one. Why don’t we go find your sister? Okay?” Durus comforted her.
Ursy sniffled and nodded. “Okay Durus.”
(Some time later...)
“Ursy!” Ula called out, walking back to Booyah Base. The day almost over as the sun was gradually fading behind the horizon, leaving the sky a vibrant rainbow of red, orange, and purple. “Ursy! Where are you?” She yelled out again, hoping her little sister wasn’t in any sort of trouble or danger. “Oh, where can she be?” She was about to call out a third time when she heard a voice from behind her.
“Ula!”
She turned around and saw her little sister running to her, small tears twinkling in her eyes as she held her pet firmly in her arms.
Ula couldn’t believe her eyes. “Ursy!” She yelled in delight and ran to her sister, picking her up in her arms. The two held onto each other, crying tears of joy.
“Oh Ursy! I was so worried! Where did you head off to?” Ula asked, wiping away her tears.
“Just making a friend big sis.” Ursy looked behind her and pointed to Durus, who was just a few feet away. Ula stood up and walked to him, cautiously but not showing any hostility.
“Are you the one who looked after my little sister?” Ula asked, keeping Ursy behind herself.
Durus nodded. “Your little sister happened to come across me. She’s a very talkative youngster, but the little one here is pretty brave to approach a complete stranger.”
“Oh my, did she really?” Ula looked back to her sister, who was trying to give her a puppy-eyed look of innocence. She sighed and turned her attention back to Durus. “I hope she didn’t bother you.”
“Oh not at all,” Durus reassured her. “If anything she was a delight to talk with.”
Ula let out a sigh of relief. “Oh thank goodness.” She turned to her little sister again and bent down. “Don’t go wandering off like that okay Ursy? You almost scared me to death.”
The little inkling nodded to her big sister. “I promise Ula.” Ursy then walked to Durus and gave him a hug, “I hope we can see each other again mister!”
Durus chuckled and patted her head. “Maybe in the future little one.” He turned away from them and started walking, turning back to wave the two sisters goodbye.
