Maya: She stared at you with a knowing grin on her face as you fumbled to get out the words you’d been meaning to say.
“I’m going to cut you off and say yes. Dinner would be nice,” She said.
“How did you know I was going to ask you to dinner?” You asked in amazement; you knew she was a spirit medium, but you were pretty sure she wasn’t psychic.
“It’s a secret,” she said with a wink before adding, “By the way, burgers are my favorite. So if you want your chances of a second date to be increased, I recommend a good burger joint. It’s the true way to my heart.”
Ema: “Run that by me one more time,” Ema said as she fiddled with glasses on her head.
“I want to take you out…on a date,” You said, starting to feel nervous.
“Okay. Yeah sure. Um, wow.” Ema’s cheeks got a little pink as she nodded her approval. You grinned at the response, relieved that some of your feelings seemed to be reciprocated.
Athena: Athena had been able to read the positive energy, as well as the nerves, rolling off of you.
“You okay?” she asked as you took a deep breath and stood directly in front of her.
“Would you like to go see a movie later?”
“Sure!”
“As in see it on a, well, a date?” Athena’s eyes widened in mild surprise. So that’s what the nerves she had heard were about. She smiled as she put her hands on her hips and looked up at you.
“Of course! It’d be nice!” she said after a moment. You grinned happily as she wrote down her address so you’d be able to pick her up later.
