i reach for you,

i yearn for you,

i wait for you,

i am here for you.

you will never come,

you will never hold me,

you will never yearn for me,

you are not mine to keep.

i do not want to let you go,

i do not want you to leave,

i do not want to admit,

i just want to believe.

you don't exist,

it took me a while to say.

you can not guide me,

i am alone nowadays.

i must handle this world alone,

for you are not real.

this is my story,

hi, im an aspiring poet and writer who currently is just using tumblr as a place to share my works.

you can refer to me with any pronouns or just call me imagination. (online i really don’t care how you refer to me as long as you’re respectful)

my poems occasionally cover slightly sensitive topics (eg. war, conflict, etc.) as my own form of silent protests, so be wary when you read my poems and what they’re about.

i don’t mind constructive criticism! i enjoy being able to improve so criticism is welcome.

i will not tolerate any form of racism, homophobia, transphobia and things along those lines near my blog whatsoever

we are taught to hate,

from little we lose the idea of equal.

so maybe the idea stayed,

but the execution fails.

we are taught that is just how he is,

he is just being him.

that we can’t take away his rights,

that he’s got a bad good intention within.

we are taught that she is wrong right,

that we should listen to her because she knows best.

she is wise and honest after all,

and we are lying little pests.

‘fight for equality’ they say,

yet fight for only one.

unless you fight for all,

every step i take,

i must be wary of a landmine.

one wrong step,

and the fault will be mine.

i can’t see where wall meets floor,

yet the walls still shrink.

i am caged, trapped, encased,

and my sanity is running out of ink.
