'Concept Collider'
Week 1:
We were introduced to the brief, and our first task was to make images to represent words, this was the image making workshop. I chose the words Evolution, Life, New and Play. The first ten images, (evolution and life) were the easiest to make but the more I made the harder it was to come up with ideas. I wrote down any ideas I had for the words before I made the images, which really helped. A couple of the images I don't like, the UFO one for life does not really look like a UFO, but I couldn't think of another shape to represent it. I think the fact that it was only black and white, and we couldn't draw made it harder to show depth or any 3D elements.
