Meet Shadow Mortimer, now called Mordecai! Little Mordecai came in with the 97 piggalos from Wisconsin with pretty bad neurological issues. He has a significant head tilt ans goes in lots of circles. Also, he sometimes gets excited, loses his balance, and tips over. Despite all of that this little guy is packed with personality and happy as a clam. He purrs like Mortimer did when I feed him, if I'm holding him and on my phone he chews on it, and if I sit down his feeding syringe for even a moment he decides he can feed himself. Also, he tried to eat my socks last night. How can you not love that? Mordecai will be staying at The Pipsqueakery and joining our herd after quarantine. He was already treated for an ear infection, but of course we will be having him checked by our vet just in case. I have a sneaking suspicion he has dental disease based on how he eats and how skinny he is, but I can't know for sure until we get some diagnostic imaging done.
