the oldest. the only boy. burdened by the high expectations of his father before he could even walk. and failure wasn't an option. but draco would never ever ever meet his father's expectations. no matter how hard he tried. draco would never be good enough. this seriously affected draco growing-up but one can't show their emotions ( a real disconnect to his emotions ) or they're seen as weak, so he had no output aside from being cruel to others and when alone himself. his childhood wasn't so bad, he had his mother who tried to protect him as much as she could from his father and he had a little sister whom he adored.

summer break; his own personal hell. if he thought his father was bad it was nothing compared to what the dark lord put draco through. ( thankfully his mother took his sister to their french villa ). been taken under the wing of the dark lord, he had never saw coming and he was marked by him after his first kill ( to create his first horcrux ). thankfully the years of suppressing his emotions came in handy, he became numb during the killing. and when it came to the second it was as if it was nothing but a morning errand being done. as the break went on, he has become devoid of colour.

so, returning to hogwarts he's changed there is no light in his eyes like there once was as if all the hope has drained from his body and all that's left is the cold hard realities of it all.

he has two horcruxes at the moment due to the time voldemort spent at the manor, he took draco under his wing ( pretty much turning him into a monster ). so, yes. draco has killed two muggles to make them and he does regret it. one of his horcruxes is locked away in the family vault and the other is his signet ring.

the only child born to isla and malcolm bones, susan was named for her aunt amelia's middle name. a rather powerful and respected family in the wizarding community, it's no shock that they were sought after by death eaters during the first wizarding world war. most of the family wouldn't survive.

first year :

susan bones started her education at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry the same year as the famous harry potter. she shared a boat with seamus finnigan and hermione granger, and was the third student to be called upon by minerva mcgonagall for the sorting ceremony. there was an indescribable joy at being sorted into hufflepuff, the very house that her parents had shared before falling in love. the house that most of her family had called home while at hogwarts. during her first year, susan would learn all about the basics of magic and spell performance, like her other classmates. she was also present at the end-of-term feast during which gryffindor won the house cup breaking slytherin's seven year winning streak.

second year :

during her second year, susan seemed to develop a crush on the then defence against the dark arts professor, gilderoy lockhart, which caused her to be off-task daydreaming during his lessons. she participated in the duelling club, as a precaution due to the attacks that occurred after the chamber of secrets had been opened. the fact that lockhart oversaw this club was merely an added benefit, as was the discovery of a talent for duelling magic. if only she’d known how much that skill would come in handy in later years.

year two wasn’t all clubs and cute professors. when her friends were all petrified by the unknown creature (now known to be a basilisk) roaming the school, fear seemed hard to shake. for someone who had already faced so much loss, the thought that her friends’ lives were in peril was a hard one to shake. to say that she was filled with a sense of relief when professor sprout and madam pomfrey were able to cure the petrified students would be an understatement.

third year :

idk she was scared of sirius black like everyone else that year. i'll flesh this year out later maybe. maybe not. we'll see.

fourth year :

during susan's fourth year hogwarts held the triwizard tournament and hufflepuff's cedric diggory was one of the triwizard champions. she supported cedric in favor of harry, as he was in her house and her best friends were also strong supporters of him.

cedric's death at the end of the triwizard tournament left susan with a lot of questions, though of one thing she was certain. harry potter was no liar. voldemort was back, and it was only a matter of time before the rest of the wizarding world began to suspect the same.

summer before fifth year :

it was in late june that the death eaters who murdered susan’s uncle edgar and his family escaped from azkaban. news that immediately set the bones family on high alert, and for good reason. mid july saw an attack on the bones household, with susan left the only survivor. she’d credit it to pure luck and her mother’s forethought, if you could even get her to speak on the incident. 

her father’s shout from the kitchen had given enough warning for susan to barricade herself into her bedroom. unfortunately there was already a death eater waiting for the girl. fortunately he hadn’t been expecting her to throw a punch instead of a hex. it was only that split second of shock that allowed her to grab for the portkey her mother had placed on her nightstand only a few weeks earlier. an emergency escape hatch of sorts. and it worked. susan successfully escaped to an alley behind the leaky cauldron. she entered and gave a fake name to tom, the pub’s owner, and asked him to send for amelia bones. it was only when her aunt arrived, having recognized the fake name as a previously agreed upon safety code for her niece, that susan learned that neither of her parents had been so lucky as she’d been. 

the following days saw her settling into a spare bedroom at her aunt’s home, her new home, and struggling to accept her new reality. still weeks later, the grief at her parents’ death feels as fresh as it was standing in the leaky cauldron. she only hopes this school year proves to be the distraction she so desperately craves.

pansy parkinson was born into a very wealthy and very prominent pureblood family, one of the sacred twenty-eight. pansy comes from a long line of parkinsons' which is why ella parkinson, her mother, resents her and has pushed her away and her father, peter parkinson, takes out his aggression on the both of the witches --pansy being an only child, that means the line will end with her.

with her parents wishing she was someone else entirely, she had to pretty lonely childhood, besides her nannies, she learned how to independent. of course she wasn't completely alone, she had her friends from other pureblood families that she quickly latched onto. though she may not admit it, or even act like it sometimes, they have helped her get through a lot, and continue to do so.

like most other pureblood families, pansy had to go through rigorous lessons on "how to be perfect pureblood". the etiquette courses, the dance classes, and she even learned french, spanish, german, and italian all by the age of 10. all this helped her academically, pansy is nowhere close to top of her close but she learned a good work ethic and absorbs new information after a little studying to where at least her schooling isn't fuel for father's fire against her.

being wealthy meant pansy had an easy way to find a distraction from everything happening inside the parkinson manor, that distraction was shopping. she gets the best of everything, and usually gets it before anyone else, especially with the pull that comes with her last name, and her fathers gringotts account. pansy is the epitome of spoiled rich bitch, except the catch is, something only a very few of her closest friends know, is that the only one spoiling her is herself.

born in stockton, california to a single mother, camila reyes mcdonald, natalie serrano mcdonald is the oldest of five children. while natalie never knew her father, her other siblings were blessed ( or cursed, rather ) with the knowledge that their father was much like their mother, an alcoholic who dabbled in hard drugs. once nat was old enough to care for herself, at the ripe old age of 9, the little care they received from their mother became almost as non-existent as their respective fathers involvements in their lives.

the one escape for natalie was school. while she grew up extremely poor, when it came to academics she was extremely gifted. she excelled in a majority of her classes, especially math and science. while her academics were great, she didn't have many friends. coming from a family below the poverty line mixing with the cruelness of children... didn't exactly make it easy for her to make friends, but she was extremely loyal to those that she had.

high school was proving to be difficult for nat, an influx of classes, which weren't so difficult... but classes as well as caring for her younger siblings, all while juggling a part time job and taking care of their drunk mother ( when she decided to come home ) was a lot for a teenager. three weeks after her fifteenth birthday, natalie's mother was found unconscious in a local park after an overdose. after three days in the local i.c.u. she passed.

while natalie felt more... indifferent than anything, her younger siblings were crushed. for two weeks nat took care of everything, the same way she had for years before their mother had passed. but after these two weeks everything in natalie's life turned upside down with a simple knock on their door. a tall man, vaguely familiar stood upon their modest stoop, claiming to be her father.

while natalie's first instinct was the slam the door in his face, his odd clothes and accent made her curious. when he explained to her that he was there to take her back to wales with him and all of her siblings. already in shock at the fact that this obviously wealthy ( yet very unusual ) man was not only her father, but willing to take in her and her four siblings to another country, he dropped the biggest bomb one could drop ; the fact that she was a witch. nat laughed in his face but after he whipped out a wand and made their ratty old sofa float... she didn't really have a choice in believing him. he also explained that while her siblings were muggles, he would still take care of them at his manor ( "holy shit a manor?" ) in wales.

once in wales, nat bonded with her new father, and fell in love with the magical plants of this new world of hers. he explained to her that when she was around 17/18 her powers would likely manifest, and she would be sent to a wizarding school called hogwarts, where she could eventually choose an area of study - one choice being herbology or the study of magical plants. at 17 her magic started to come in and she was sent to hogwarts where she was sorted into gryffindor, the same house her father himself was sorted into. now in her fifth year at hogwarts, and following the death of cedric diggory the year before, nat has always known that her loyalties were to the light, and nothing has changed that.

HEADCANONS.

she secretly grows weed on campus ( in a hidden area, veiled by several charms ) and sells it to her peers. she doesn't like to drink often because of her mothers addiction, but is always down to smoke instead, and is usually very generous with her weed.

doesn't take her position of vice president of the herbology club very seriously most of the time, but will if she has to.

often gives herself stick n poke tattoos, and is known for giving them to her house mates as well.

has a white lipped python named santana ( named after santana lopez from glee ) which probably scares most of her dorm mates.
