hey remember when we all watched s2e7 of arcane and then we got the flashback episode to melvik secretly being a thing before jayce attended the academy. wasnt that funny and crazy seeing the political climate not all that different. wasnt it fun seeing the way viktor climbed the ranks academically into being noticed by heimerdinger while mel fought to get on the council. wasnt it fun seeing them bond over how pretentious and stupid all higher ups are. making fun of hoskel and salo in their private rooms giggling into each others space. seeing their first impulsive kiss after too many drinks during progress day. their first time in heimerdingers office both too nervous to speak in full sentences. the way they stared at each other in any crowded room. exchanging charged looks bc theyre keeping this secret from the public. but its worth it. they found solace in each other in the mess of not belonging here. it was all worth it until it wasnt
