Maya can be seen as a bit scatterbrained at times but this is actually just a manifestation of her following her passions. She loves tokusatsu shows, she loves food, and she loves family and friends. She also loves her work as a spirit medium, but she has a hard time focusing on it, so she needs to put herself in isolated rooms or specific locations with sensory stimulus to be able to practice. When she needs to do it she can, and she is unquestionably the best there is at it, but with a task that requires disconnecting from one's self as much as channeling does, it seems like it's very hard for her without the right circumstances.
