jonathan awkwardly shuffled his feet about, holding a cup of soda in his grasp. he really wasn’t one to do parties, but he’d been persuaded by nancy && steve both to come to this little christmas shindig. he bit his lip as he looked around, dressed in his usual garb of jeans, flannel, jean jacket, && a t-shirt. he soon spotted keith, surprisingly, standing right underneath a mistletoe. he didn’t see nancy or steve immediately, so he decided he’d go over and talk to keith- it’s not like he had to do anything underneath the mistletoe, right ??
what he didn’t expect was to trip over someone else’s foot as soon as he was close to keith, causing jonathan to stumble before bumping against the other male, lips brushing together in an accidental kiss. after a few seconds of shock, jonathan pulled away with a bright red flush.
❛ that- that was an accident, i’m so sorry- ❜ the words tumbled out of his mouth, looking flustered and mortified that this happened- he only hoped that no one played witness to his embarrassment.
