I MUST ASK WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

I think Lisa is sleeping, so I can tell you. 

We went to Trader Joe’s - because I had never been to one - and she had been making fun of my enthusiasm for the store, and then we noticed that they were sampling ice cream. 

So. Of course, we try it. And I’m chatting up the ice cream sample girl, and mention that it’s National Ice Cream Day, and is that why they are serving ice cream today?

And the girl is all ‘yeah, of course. You know it’s the only day in the year we are allowed to serve ice cream?” 

And Lisa, my beloved Lisa, turns around and is all, “really?”

Ice cream girl affirms and goes on about how they can’t serve ice cream any other day of the year and meanwhile, I am killing myself laughing in the Trader Joe’s and Lisa finally gets it and oh. my. god. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while.
