I don’t think your opinions are racist. they are racist. you make a boatload of racist assumptions, equate nationality with ethnicity, and brush away canon evidence to the Animorphs’ ethnicities to support whitewashing. and based on how you’ve worded this ask, you don’t think it’s racist.

and it’s nice that you’re open to “learning”, but I honestly didn’t have the energy or patience to hold your hand through all this, and I wouldn’t even know where to begin. especially since you don’t seem to think it’s racist. I just… don’t know what to do here

and no, I don’t think I’ll take it down. I was rude by posting the pile of racist shit that arrived in my inbox this morning, I’ll give you that. you were rude by posting racist and a lot of intensely disgusting and fatphobic comments into the Animorphs tag (and yeah, they were fatphobic) in reaction to someone’s Animorphs headcanons and art. and you used another artist’s work to do so! jfc, that’s so rude!

and then you deflect the blame away from yourself with faux apologies, which is also rude. when I confront you about it, you leave me with a racist pile of assumptions and anti-Latin@ shit, which is also rude. and when I post that, you come into my askbox and expect me to be nice and teach you things, and you don’t even own up to what you’ve done. hell no. there are resources available to you, and if you can’t be bothered to search up why people are upset, then why should I bother. I won’t take it down.

also, don’t use someone’s fanart of characters to hold up your BS?? why would you do that. like seriously. that’s fucked up.

erasing characters’ canon ethnicities is racist as fuck

I focused on Marco because that affected me the most, with you trying to whitewash one of the few Latin@ characters that I have by claiming that his features make him not Latino. but the point above also goes for Rachel and Jake
