In this course we will work either a book cover, a poster or other graphic piece exploring traditional techniques such as pencil, ink, watercolor and gouache to create a unique and personal illustration. We will work step by step from the development of the idea, through visual associations, symbols to the final composition to make the most of the expressive capabilities of analog while taking advantage of digital editing. Going through sketchbooks getting preppped for my Illustration Workshop at @lagaleriaroja June 9-11! The most beautiful thing about this program is that they keep the class sizes so small - I'll be able to have individual time with each student and we will get to work on pieces together. I'll be bringing my private sketchbooks (which is something I never do!) and I'll have a little gift for each student. If you are one of my students for this class, I'd love to hear from you beforehand- hit me an email at [email protected] with where you are (beginner or pro) your goals and your biggest struggles and I'll try to make sure we cover everything over the course!
